Terrie Lambert, the creator of this process, made the first Moonshine Slide in 1989 when she needed a custom slide for her small hands. To a musician who also designs porcelain jewelry and custom tile, the creation of a ceramic slide was an obvious solution. With the input of many fine slide guitar players, the ideal ceramic slide design was perfected.

Terrie discovered that the only way to ensure quality is to hand make each and every one. The use of premium raw materials required for our exacting formula requires careful manufacturing control to produce slides that will consistently maintain playability and that full, rich resonating tone, for years of satisfaction.

Jim Dunlop Manufacturing championed Moonshine Slides in 1994 by taking our products into their catalog and distributing our products internationally. We continue to do business with Jim Dunlop and are excited to be a part of their slide team.

Moonshine Slides, Inc. is dedicated to designing ceramics for music. The founder, Terrie Lambert, has been trained as a sound engineer, has been an active musician since 1969, and has been a professional technical ceramist since 1976.
