The Moonshine Slide is warmer, yet more resonant than glass. Made from a white clay body and glazed with cobalt, sound travels through the glazed exterior into the clay body. The Moonshine Slide clay body is left open and creates micro-resonators round in shape. The clay absorbs high-end distortion while the tone takes on the shape of the resonators. A round, fluid tone reminiscent of a tube amp is the result. The Moonshine Slide has a bisque interior (unglazed) that absorbs finger moisture. The 2 3/4" length Moonshine Slides are for the player who wants access to all strings at once. Open tuning works great—commonly used in all styles of music.

The 2" length Moonshine Slides are for the player who likes to be able to finger chord around the slide playing. Single notes are easier to control—standard tuning is an adventure.
